A fun hearty math activity for Valentine's week.
💗 Drew a big heart on a sheet of paper and wrote numbers (2-12) randomly. I placed a few felt hearts to be used as counters.
💗 I asked the little guy to roll the pair of dice, add the dots, find the number on the sheet, dip the stamper in red paint and stamp the number with a ❤️
That heart stamp is a DIY. I glued a foam heart on the top of a detergent bottle cap.
He used the heart counters for big numbers, for addition of smaller values though, he was happy to use his little fingers! ☺️
Somewhere midway, he abandoned the stamping mission, as the trains were way more interesting 😁 In a while he was back again to use our other stamps of different shapes. This time to just randomly stamp the numbers. He was done with the math 😅
